St. Elian's Well
Faeries live. Waterfalls and sacred wishing wells are everywhere. A storm of epic proportions diverts the war-band to a course they did not plan. They’re surprised when they wake. Some trees have been destroyed by lightning, the place where they found shelter is dangerous and someone across a river is baking bread! Birds dart about, singing with delight, while large trees shake the rain off their leaves. Questions arise; who made that land bridge over a river they’ve never seen? Who is baking, and how is it that the majestic trees they encounter appear to be quite old? A common expression said: "I swear it by Elian’s Well." It meant you weren’t lying. In truth, no one had ever seen it. Till now.
